A trade show for Brazilians in the USA
A trade show for Brazilians in the USA. ExpoBrazil (www.expobrazil.us), which was born in Orlando, Florida and has been popular with the Brazilian public in the United States for several years, will be held this year on April 6 and 7, 2024. Several Brazilian and foreign companies take part in the trade show, offering products and services to both individuals and companies. Always a success – especially, of course, with the Brazilian public – this year’s trade show featured 145 exhibitors and several speakers.
The trade show also featured some special stands, such as the Hope & Justice Foundation, which focuses on combating human trafficking, and the Consulate General of Brazil in Orlando, which offered passport updating services, among others. The Consul General of Brazil in Orlando, João Lucas Quental Novaes de Almeida, who presented impressive figures for foreign trade between Brazil and the United States and, more specifically, Brazil and Florida.

Varendi Translation, a company founded in 1989 in São Paulo, SP, Brazil, and now with an office in Orlando, Florida, naturally took part in ExpoBrazil. Our stand catered for the trade show public, i.e. individual visitors looking to translate personal documents, as well as companies looking for technical translation services. We were also visited by fellow exhibitors who use our services directly or indirectly by referring Varendi to their clients.
We also had the opportunity to contribute information in an interview at the studio set up at the trade show. As well as talking about our services, we were also able to give the public general recommendations and explain the differences between certain types of translation and their applications. We had time to address more advanced topics, such as artificial intelligence, a subject on which we feel comfortable and authoritative, as Varendi is always technologically up-to-date.
We’re sure that the trade show was beneficial not only for the exhibitors, but also for the visitors who came to see us. One of the indicators of this success was the increase of one day of open doors compared to last year. A rich, busy and, at the same time, cheerful and relaxed trade show is essential for everyone who carries both Brazilian and North American culture. Congratulations to the organizers of ExpoBrazil 2024, and thank you for your service to our public!
